Tricritical Behavior in Dynamical Phase Transitions

چکیده

We identify a new scenario for dynamical phase transitions associated with time-integrated observables occurring in diffusive systems described by the macroscopic fluctuation theory. It is characterized pairwise meeting of first- and second-order bias-induced transition curves at two tricritical points. formulate simple, general criterion its appearance derive an exact Landau theory behavior. The demonstrated three examples: simple symmetric exclusion process biased activity-related structural observable; Katz-Lebowitz-Spohn lattice gas model current; active entropy production.

Structures, Phase Transitions and Tricritical Behavior of the Hybrid Perovskite Methyl Ammonium Lead Iodide

We have examined the crystal structures and structural phase transitions of the deuterated, partially deuterated and hydrogenous organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite methyl ammonium lead iodide (MAPbI3) using time-of-flight neutron and synchrotron X-ray powder diffraction. Near 330 K the high temperature cubic phases transformed to a body-centered tetragonal phase. The variation of the order par...

Corrigendum: Structures, Phase Transitions and Tricritical Behavior of the Hybrid Perovskite Methyl Ammonium Lead Iodide

‘Lattice parameters determined from the synchrotron X-ray diffraction scans of the cubic 200 and tetragonal 220/004 Bragg peaks. Fits to the cubic lattice parameter (black solid line) and the average tetragonal lattice parameter (= 2atet + ctet)/3 (blue solid line), were used to determine the linear coefficients of thermal expansion of 1.95 × 10−4 K−1 (cubic) and 2.66 × 10−4 K−1 (tetragonal). First-order dynamical phase transitions.

Recently, dynamical phase transitions have been identified based on the nonanalytic behavior of the Loschmidt echo in the thermodynamic limit [Heyl et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 110, 135704 (2013)]. By introducing conditional probability amplitudes, we show how dynamical phase transitions can be further classified, both mathematically, and potentially in experiment. This leads to the definition of f...

Dynamical Phase Transitions and Spin Glasses

By measuring the distance between two configurations subjected to the same thermal noise, one observes for spin glasses three phases: a high-temperature phase (T> T 1), where the distance between the two configurations vanishes in the long-time limit; an intermediate phase (1’~< T < T,), where this distance has a nonzero limit independent of the initial distance; a low-temperature phase (T< ~‘2...

Discrete Kinetic Models for Dynamical Phase Transitions

In this paper, we shall describe discrete kinetic models, which serve as a novel and systematical way to regularize a mixed-type system describing the dynamical phase transitions. In the limit of zero mean free path, it is expected to provide abundant reasonable kinetic relations and nucleation criteria for constructing Riemann solvers. Some particular models have been investigated theoreticall...
